Naughty Dog were holding a livestream featuring community strategist Eric Monacelli, writer Josh Scherr and lead animator Eric Baldwin. They were showing of The Nathan Drake collection and discussing the development of the game.

When suddenly Josh Scherr slipped up and may have confirmed a sequel.

“All the facial animation in the Uncharted series was led up by Eric, here,” he begins, “and [on] the first The Last of Us. Uh, did I say the first The Last of Us?”

This may not have been an official confirmation but Scherr tries very hard (but fails) to cover his tracks. You can view the clip above and decide for yourself.

It is obvious that they would work on a sequel because the game sold millions of copies and was a huge success. It wouldn’t make sense for them not to make one.Who knows, it may come out around the same time as the film which is in development.
